HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Black Bear Diner in Harlingen is helping to support flood victims in Kerr County, Texas.
The dine-and-donate event will contribute 10% of sales to the American Red Cross. Black Bear Diner, known for its community involvement and Nicaraguan coffee, is participating nationwide.
Popular menu items include the Grizzly plate and sweet cream pancakes.
The fundraiser is all-day, on July 16 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., at all locations, including Harlingen, located at 6706 W. Expressway 83, off the Stewart Place exit.
The community is encouraged to dine and support the cause.
