HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Harlingen Police Department is hosting its annual Autism Awareness event on Wednesday.
The free event includes food, information, and resources from 40 partners aimed at supporting children and adults with autism.

The police department offers alerts and stickers for homes and vehicles with autistic individuals.
The event emphasizes community collaboration and education during Autism Awareness Month.
