Harlingen police, DPS team up for safer roads initiative

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Harlingen Police Department, alongside the Texas Department of Public Safety, is conducting a joint initiative.

Both agencies will be focusing on driving while intoxicated enforcement to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians and keep Valley roads safe.

The agencies want to remind the public to always celebrate responsibly, never drink and drive, stay sober if you're driving or use a designated driver or ride service if you are under the influence.
