Harlingen Fire Department reports small vegetative fire under control

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Harlingen Fire Department reported they have contained a small vegetative fire, involving a small tree.

Assistant Fire Chief Darrell Loftus told ValleyCentral at 10:11 a.m., fire crews responded to the 1100 block of E. New Hampshire St., in the vicinity of Arroyo Park.

The fire has been contained, and Loftus added that there was no property damage and no one was hurt or affected.
