Harlingen dentist reappointed to State Board of Dental Examiners

AUSTIN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Gov. Greg Abbott has reappointed a Harlingen dentist to the State Board of Dental Examiners, the governor's office announced Tuesday.

Linda Burke, D.D.S., a pediatric dentist and owner of Burke Children's Dentistry, was initially appointed to the board in 2019. Her term will expire on Feb. 1, 2031, according to a news release.

The board regulates the practice of dentistry and dental hygiene in the state.

Abbott also named Bryan Henderson, II, D.D.S. as chair and appointed Lisa Masters, D.D.S. of San Antonio, and Janessa Bock, D.D.S. of Katy to the board.
