Harlingen Chamber revives Margarita Scramble golf tournament

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Harlingen Chamber of Commerce's Planning Committee talks about the upcoming Margarita Scramble Golf Tournament.

The event, which has been revived after a nine-year hiatus, aims to support local businesses through fundraising.

The tournament is sold out, but it still welcomes volunteers. It is intended for adults, with a minimum age of 18 due to the presence of margaritas.

The community is encouraged to suggest new names for future tournaments.

The event will be held at Tony Butler Golf Course in Harlingen, registration is a 7 a.m. with tee-off at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 31.
