Harlingen babysitter charged with 6 counts of injury to children

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A babysitter out of Harlingen was arrested on allegations of abusing children under her care.

An arrest warrant was issued against Miranda Delgado after police received a call that Delgado would burst out in anger towards children with learning disabilities.

The Harlingen Police Department issued six warrants for Delgado on charges of injury to a child, elderly, or disabled individual.

Local and federal agencies arrested Delgado, who was issued a $210,000 bond on all six charges.
