Habitat for Humanity breaks ground for Weslaco family

WESLACO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Habitat for Humanity of the Rio Grande Valley broke ground on a home Thursday for a Weslaco family in need.

City and county officials helped the family realize their dream of owning a home.

"A lot of very important people attended this function because they realized that we are going to help a family move into a brand new home," said Mariano Ayala, Executive director for Habitat Humanity of the RGV. "Thank you, Weslaco for showing your tremendous support."
