H-E-B Feast of Sharing gatherings happening near you

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The H-E-B Feast of Sharing, a holiday feast that helps serve thousands of families statewide, is returning to a city near you.

Since 1989, the beloved Texas-based supermarket chain has partnered with community leaders to give back to the community each holiday season.

The annual event has served nearly four million meals to the community since its launch, while bringing together family, friends, and neighbors.

This year, H-E-B is hosting a total of 27 feasts in Texas and Mexico, with several taking place in the Rio Grande Valley.

McAllen

The H-E-B Feast of Sharing will be held in the Rio Grande Valley starting next month in McAllen.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, at the McAllen Convention Center, located on 700 Convention Center Blvd.

Brownsville

The H-E-B feast will make its way from Hidalgo County to Cameron County to continue the festivities in Brownsville.

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at Jacob Brown Auditorium, 600 International Blvd.

Weslaco

The third Rio Grande Valley feast celebration will be held in Weslaco.

The event will take 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, at the St. Joan of Arc Parish, located at 200 S. Illinois Ave.

Harlingen and Port Isabel

Two H-E-B feasts will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, in Cameron County.

The first feast of the day will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Harlingen Convention Center, located at 701 Harlingen Hts Dr.

Later the same day, a second feast will take place in Port Isabel.

The Port Isabel feast will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at Port Isabel High School, located at 18001 TX 100.

Raymondville

H-E-B will partner with the RGV Food Bank to host a feast and drive-thru event in Raymondville.

The event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, at the Willacy County Housing Authority, located at 10804 Bus. 77.

Rio Grande City

The final stop of H-E-B feasts in the Valley will take place in December in Rio Grande City.

The feast will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at Ringgold Elementary, located at 1 Ringgold Ave.
