Guzmán: Demand for EB5 visas is rising; policy is evolving.

As CEO of Open EB5, I make it a priority to follow the data that truly shapes our industry.

Recently, IIUSA (Invest In the USA) released a report confirming what many of us have been observing for months: Fiscal Year 2024 was one of the most impactful years in the history of the EB-5 Program.

According to the report: A record 12,055 Unreserved EB-5 visas were issued through consular processing.

For the first time since the passage of the Reform and Integrity Act (RIA), Reserved EB-5 visas were successfully issued — a concrete step toward activating these new categories.

The U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou processed 8,079 visas (67% of the global total), while Ho Chi Minh City issued over 1,450, including several under the High Unemployment Area category.

This isn’t just about numbers.

It’s about a shift in the global conversation. Demand is rising. Policy is evolving. And for those who approach this path with proper strategy and preparation, results are happening.

At Open EB5, we continue to provide expert guidance grounded in legal clarity and transparency. Because while the EB-5 process isn’t for everyone, it can be life-changing for those who are ready.
