Goodwill & Dell Reconnect host Brownsville E-waste drive

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Goodwill Industries of South Texas and Dell Reconnect are hosting an e-waste donation drive.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, in the new Goodwill store location, at 394 N. Expressway 77 Frontage Road (Boca Chica Exit).

Items that will be accepted in the e-waste donation drive are monitors, laptops, desktops, tablets, cell phones, printers, scanners, cords, cables, keyboards, mice and more.

All electronics donated will be securely wiped cleaned and upcycled through Dell's Dell Reconnect program.

Those who will be donating electronics, Goodwill wants to assure, all data will be destroyed so that donors can feel safe about their donations.
