BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The wait is finally over! The Gladys Porter Zoo is opening the long-awaited "Soaring Eagle" Zipline this week!
The zipline attraction will open to the public on Thursday, July 10, where it is projected to generate approximately $415,000 annually.
The zipline will have adventurers gliding 130 feet above the zoo, providing views of the animals, greenery, views of the city skyline and even a view of our neighboring country, Mexico.
The long-awaited Soaring Eagle Zipline is a new attraction that is designed to enhance visitors' experience and provide a new view of the zoo.
