Gladys Porter Zoo to host annual Party for the Planet, Earth Day event

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — In celebration of Earth Day, the Gladys Porter Zoo is hosting its annual Party for the Planet event.

The celebration will take place on April 5, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Gladys Porter Zoo, located at 500 E. Ringgold Street.

Various activities and games will be set throughout the zoo for guests to enjoy as well as learn ways to help preserve the planet.

"The Gladys Porter Zoo is gearing up for an incredible Earth Day bash during our Party for the Planet. I hope the public will make plans to visit the Zoo to explore all the exciting ways we can protect the Earth," said Cynthia Garza Galvan, Marketing Director.
