Gas leak prompts closure at Gateway International Bridge

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A gas leak has prompted the Gateway International Bridge in Brownsville to close temporarily.

The port of entry was closed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Texas Gas Services is addressing the leak.

Gas leak repairs can take up to eight hours, according to the City of Brownsville.
