Gas leak in Brownsville prompts officer-directed traffic

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — An apparent gas leak in Brownsville is prompting traffic to be directed by officers in the affected area.

According to a spokesperson for the Brownsville Police Department, the gas leak is affecting the area near East 14th and Burton Street.

The gas company is question is at the scene to fix the issue.

Brownsville PD has set barricades to block off the area and is manning traffic.
