Gas leak forces closure of Trosper Road in Alton

ALTON, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Texas Department of Transportation announced an Alton road closure due to a gas leak.

According to a news release from TxDOT, Trosper Road, just south of FM 676 Mile 5 road, is closed due to a ruptured gas line.

TxDOT states that utility crews are on the scene for repairs. The road is expected to be closed for approximately two hours.
