FALCON HEIGHTS, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A young girl drifting away along Falcon Lake was rescued by a Texas Game Warden over Memorial Day weekend.
Texas Game Wardens released a video of the rescue on Tuesday afternoon.
Game Wardens patrolling the Falcon International Reservoir on Memorial Day weekend rescued a 5-year-old girl who was drifting away on an inflatable tube.

According to the video, the girl was pushed away from the shore due to the 30 miles-per-hour wind speeds.
Game Wardens were able to reach the girl and rescue her.
"She was brought onboard the patrol vessel and given a trusty (dusty) life jacket. Was it pristine? No. Did it protect her? Yes. A little dust never hurt. Not wearing a life jacket can," Texas Game Wardens said. "Tiny tube. Strong winds. Big save."
