On Friday morning, ValleyCentral spoke with Sister Norma who arrived at the Vatican just after 3 p.m. Thursday.
She says that right after she arrived she visited the Papal Basilica Saint Mary Major where Pope Francis will be buried Saturday. There she attended a rosary for the late Pope.

"It was a beautiful very solemn very prayerful time asking for the repose of the soul of Pope Francis," Sister Norma said.
On Friday morning she had the opportunity to kneel before Pope Francis casket and pray.
"For me I felt as though I was an ambassador for all the people that supported and joined with me in the wonderful work that we do to help others and so I was there praying with everyone there from the RGV in this special moment that we have in saying goodbye to Pope Francis," she said.
Sister Norma met the Pope several times during her service.
When asked how she feels being a representative for the Rio Grande Valley on a sacred ground, she replied that she feels blessed.
"I truly feel blessed because I know that so many people in the Valley love Pope Francis and want to be here in this very special historical moment," Sister Norma said.
The nun is expected to come back to the Rio Grande Valley early Sunday morning.
