Frost Bank invites community to paper shredding event

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Participating Frost Bank locations will be hosting an annual shredding event.

The event allows the community to have sensitive documents shredded to protect sensitive information and prevent identity theft.

Frost Bank welcomes anyone to bring any paper products to be shredded.

Last year, Frost Bank was able to shred 271 tons of paper, estimating to saving 4,600 trees, 828 cubic yards of landfill and 563 barrels of oil.

Here are the shredding events near you.

Harlingen

The community is welcome to shred their documents from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 17 at the Harlingen Financial Center located on 1514 W. Tyler Ave.

McAllen

The event will continue in McAllen from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 23 at the McAllen North Financial Center located on 1901 W. Nolana Ave.

Weslaco

The last shredding event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at the Weslaco Financial Center located on 1010 N. Westgate Dr.
