Former Dallas Cowboy and Super Bowl champion latest guest in McAllen Holiday Parade

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The city of McAllen and the McAllen International Airport on Tuesday announced details about the McAllen Holiday Parade's Skybox Fan Experience, featuring some Dallas Cowboys.

The Skybox is a VIP experience that offers premium seating at the parade.

Officials announced that former Dallas Cowboy and Super Bowl champion Tony Casillas will be in attendance at this year's parade.

"I tell everybody who has a chance to come down here and to be able to experience, especially during Christmas, it's a time to be happy," Casillas said. "This city and this whole community embraces that."

Casillas is just the latest addition to an already packed holiday parade guest list, which includes: Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams, tight end Jake Ferguson, actor Danny Trejo, Argentine actor and model Julian Gil, University of Miami women’s basketball twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder, Ridley the Sea Turtle, Garfield the Cat, Ronald McDonald, and Mr. Monopoly.

This year’s parade is scheduled for Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium.
