First Friday Downtown Brownsville promotes something for everyone

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Alan Garcia with First Friday Downtown Brownsville discussed the ongoing revitalization of downtown Brownsville, including renovations of historic buildings and infrastructure updates.

Garcia promoted the First Friday event, which occurs every first Friday of the month. It features live music, free pedicabs, photo booths, and a free shuttle service to support local businesses.

The April 4 event begins at 7 p.m., with the Spasmatics performing at 8 p.m. The event continues until 2 a.m. with various restaurants and bars.

First Friday is family-friendly and offers something for everyone.

Future First Friday themes include Cinco de Mayo and Fourth of July.
