HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The fireworks season is here, but with tariffs in place, is there less of a supply? If so, will the public be willing to pay more for their fireworks?

An area vendor says tariffs this year are not an issue.

"We always prepare after every season. Last year, we prepared for the seasons ahead. So for us, it has not affected us, yet we have seen an increase from $3 to $5 at most. Nothing too crazy. However, in December, things might change. We definitely would prepare ourselves for that situation," said Monique Castillo, co-owner of USA Fireworks in Mission.

Castillo added that for the 4th of July, the smaller inventory sells more, but in December, customers go all out.
