Fire investigation underway at Rivera Early College High School football field

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A fire investigation is underway following a fire that occurred Sunday night at Rivera Early College High School.

The Brownsville Independent School District confirms the fire happened on the campus football field.

According to a news release from the school district, the Brownsville Fire Department responded quickly and extinguished the fire, preventing any further damage to the field.
