Fire erupts at U.S. Coast Guard building in South Padre Island

SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A fire has broken out at the U.S. Coast Guard Building located in South Padre Island, videos on social media show.

Robert Lopez, Port Isabel Police Department chief of police, confirmed with ValleyCentral, the fire broke out on Sunday morning. 

Local authorities and fire departments are on the scene.
