ALAMO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Alamo Police Department has apprehended a suspect who was wanted for his involvement in a fatal McDonald's parking lot shooting.
Carlos Alfredo Rivera Jasso, 31, was apprehended Sunday at a port of entry in Eagle Pass.
Police say Jasso is the fourth and final suspect in this murder case.
Jasso was transported to the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Detention Center.
"This achievement reflects the dedication of our officers and the critical support from our partners and community members. Together, we are committed to upholding safety and justice," Police Chief Saul Solis said.
Three other suspects involved in the fatal shooting have been arrested on murder charges.
Christina Louise Montemayor, Albert Angel Medina and Jose Alberto Jimenez Jr. were all arraigned in August.
The shooting happened August 20 at the McDonald's, located on the 1000 block of West Frontage Rd.
At the crime scene, one man was found with three gunshot wounds to his torso area.
Police believe the motive of the shooting was gang and narcotic-related.
