Father's Day Beach Water Park BBQ Cook-off

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The second annual Beach Water Park BBQ Cook-Off event is set for Father's Day, June 15.

Teams will compete in barbecue cabanas, cooking tacos for a panel of judges, and guest votes for a fan favorite prize.

First place wins $500, with additional prizes for second and third. The event is open to up to 10 teams, with a $150 participation fee.

Teams provide salsas, marinades, and toppings, while the park provides fajitas and tortillas.

The water park will be open from 11 AM to 6 PM, with tickets costing $56.99 for adults and $46.99 for kids.

The event will also feature vendors and a DJ for entertainment.
