WESLACO, Texas – Melisa Gonzales-Rosas is assistant director of the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council’s community and economic development department.
Recently, Gonzales-Rosas gave an in-depth presentation on the various strategic plans the LRGVDC is involved in. She gave the presentation at a quarterly meeting of the LRGVDC’s Small Cities Coalition.
Among the topics Gonzales-Rosas discussed were economic development, resiliency, used tires, water, and new guidelines the U.S. Economic Development Administration may usher in.
