MCALLEN, Texas – Emilio Guzmán, CEO of Open EB5, says the company’s news Immigrant Investor Program allows foreign investors and their immediate families to obtain U.S. permanent residency by investing in U.S. commercial enterprises.
In a video interview with the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service, Guzmán says the investment must create or preserve at least 10 full-time jobs for U.S. workers within two years of the investor’s conditional residency. He said its main goal is to stimulate economic growth and job creation.
In the interview, Guzmán discusses a current housing project Open EB5 is developing Pharr and a future one it will be developing in Brownsville. Both projects will benefit from investments by foreign nationals participating in the new program. He also talks about a new office his company is opening in McAllen.
