Edinburg to host trash clean up this weekend

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Edinburg is is encouraging the public to participate in this weekends trash bash.

The event serves as an opportunity for community members to give back to their city and help clean up trash throughout the community.

The clean-up event will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Fountain Park.

According to the city, hundreds of volunteers are are anticipated to be at the event.

Attendees will be assigned a designated area to pickup trash and will also be provided with supplies such as gloves and trash bags.

The Trash Bash event is open to community members of all ages.
