Edinburg reminds drivers of downtown construction, closures

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The city of Edinburg reminds drivers that construction for the new downtown parking garage is underway on McIntyre Street and north Closner Boulevard.

In addition, one southbound lane of north Closner Boulevard and surrounding area will remain closed.

Traffic will be rerouted to north 10th Ave. and signs will be posted for guidance.

Jurors and visitors should park in lots l2 and l3 on north Closner Blvd. or in lots A2 and A3 with free Valley Metro Shuttle service.
