EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Edinburg Police Chief Jaime Ayala has been appointed the new Regional Director for the Texas Police Chiefs Association (TPCA).
Ayala will play a vital role in strengthening communication and collaboration among police departments in Region 12, which encompasses a majority of the Rio Grande Valley.
As a regional director, Ayala will advocate for officer development and advancing the TPCA mission to enhance professionalism and leadership across Texas law enforcement.
"I'm honored to serve as Regional Director and represent the dedicated law enforcement leaders of Region 12," said Chief Ayala. "Together, we'll continue working toward safer communities and stronger partnerships across South Texas."
The TPCA represents over 1,200 police chiefs and law enforcement executives across Texas committed to supporting their members through leadership, advocacy, education, and training.
