EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library is hosting its annual Día de Los Niños, Día de Los Libros event.
The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at 1906 South Closner Boulevard.
The Edinburg Fire Department, Boys & Girls Club of Edinburg, Edinburg Police Department, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, UTRGV's BeChildLab, Estero Llano State Park, and local children's authors are hosting the interactive event.
"The Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros celebration underscores our commitment to fostering a love of reading across all ages," said Library Director Letty Leija. "We invite every family in Edinburg and the surrounding area to join us for an evening of fun and discovery."
Attendees can enjoy free games, arts and crafts, live performances, and complimentary books for children and adults while supplies last.
