EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Edinburg and the Edinburg Fire Department hosted a final school bash for students to gather before summer officially begins.
The event, called ‘Sparky’s School Is Out Bash', took place on Thursday, where children enjoyed movies, games, and music.
“This is the first time we do this event so we are super excited. This is something that Fire Marshal Anthony Rojas and his team has been trying to get to this past couple of weeks," said Omar Garza, Fire Chief for the Edinburg Fire Department. "It’s the final school bash so we want to try to get all the kids together before the summer.”
