Edinburg, Hidalgo County partner for major roadway upgrades

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Edinburg, along with Hidalgo County, are moving ahead with a series of major roadway projects.

According to the city, these projects will improve mobility, improve safety, and strengthen regional connectivity.

"We’re excited to work alongside Hidalgo County Precinct 4 to make these improvements possible. By partnering together, we’re not only enhancing safety and mobility, but also building the kind of infrastructure that supports growth and opportunity for our residents," said Mayor Ramiro Garza Jr.

Both the city and Hidalgo County Precinct 4 will share equally the cost of $12.6 million for these roadway improvements.
