Edinburg will soon be home to the Rio Grande Valley’s first HTeaO location, bringing to the region an Amarillo-based company that specializes in Southern-style tea has opened more than 125 locations throughout the U.S.
Construction on the location in Edinburg, at 4017 S. McColl Road is expected to begin Dec. 1 and be completed by May 29, 2026, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The $1.2 million construction will encompass 2,156 square feet, and will include a drive-thru for the tea bar franchise.
Strawberry passion, the razzler refresher, sweet Georgia peach and the sweet mango refresher are some of the more well-known items on a menu that also includes coffee for you caffeine fiends, and a secret menu to boot with not-so-secret delectables like apple pie and blueberry muffins.
HTeaO is located in 14 states with the nearest locations being in Corpus Christi and San Antonio, that is until the Edinburg tea bar opens next year.
