HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Edible Brands, the parent company of Edible Arrangements, has expanded its brand to create hemp-derived THC-infused edibles.
Edible Brands launched Edibles.com, an online marketplace that offers a variety of hemp edibles available for consumers.
In Texas during the 86th regular session, Gov. Greg Abbott vetoed Senate Bill 3, a bill that would have banned most consumable hemp products containing THC, including delta-8 and delta-9.
On Sept. 10, an executive order was issued by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and Texas Department of State Health Services to ban the sales of THC products to minors.
Earlier this year, Edibles.com had a successful pilot launch in Texas. Due to the success during the pilot launch, the business will now service over 65% of the United States through direct shipping to all legal states, as well as same-day delivery in North Carolina, Florida, Georgia and Texas.
“This expansion reflects our commitment to making hemp-THC products safe, reliable and easy to access as consumer demand continues to grow,” said Thomas Winstanley, executive vice president and general manager of Edibles.com. “By curating category leaders across diverse use cases, we’re simplifying the choices for consumers and giving them confidence in what they’re buying—delivered how and where they want it.”
The company partnered with Wana and new partners Wyld and Kiva Confections, which allows direct-to-consumer shipping and same-day local delivery in select markets.
The launch of this marketplace allows customers to purchase hemp-infused items such as hemp gummies, a blood orange tonic, blackberry lavender THC seltzer, a blood orange roadie and herbal supplements.
Customers can order THC-infused products through the Edibles.com website.
