Edcouch-Elsa ISD, Region One ESC to celebrate year-long partnership

EDCOUCH, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District is hosting a celebratory event to recognize the progress and impact of its year-long collaboration with the Region One Education Service Center.

This Friday morning, the event will spotlight the joint efforts to strengthen teaching and learning at Edcouch-Elsa ISD, including:

• Teacher professional development
• Curriculum alignment
• Leadership coaching
• Instructional capacity building
• Implementation of High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM)

Additionally, Edcouch-Elsa ISD and Region One ESC have submitted a joint application for a Senate Bill 1882 Partnership, which, if approved, would formalize a three-year collaboration focused on innovative school models and sustained student growth.
