Drug search prompts SWAT team presence in San Benito

SAN BENITO, Texas (ValleyCentral) —Questions are beginning to surface due to the presence of SWAT teams seen Monday in San Benito.

According to Detective Kathy Pardo, with the San Benito Police Department, the department and its SWAT team apprehended multiple people Monday morning during a search.

Authorities are executing a narcotics search warrant at a residence in San Benito.

Preliminary information indicates four individuals were detained.
