Driver killed after crashing car into cement wall in Donna

DONNA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash after colliding head-on into a cement wall, according to the Donna Police Department.

The fatal accident occurred at 6:10 a.m. Sunday at the FM 493 and Mile 9 intersection.

A preliminary investigation reveals the driver was traveling northbound when they lost control and crashed into a cement wall and an electrical pole.

The driver, who has not been identified, died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
