DPS: Two barricaded suspects arrested in Pharr

PHARR, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Two people were arrested Thursday after a traffic stop turned into a barricade situation in Pharr.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a trooper attempted a traffic stop when the driver escaped.

DPS says the driver drove to the 1140 block of E. Juarez Ave. in Pharr and was barricaded before he surrendered.

The names of the two suspects have not been released.

No injuries were reported.
