DPS: Multi-city pursuit ends in Peñitas, 1 in custody

PEÑITAS, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man is in custody following a multi-city pursuit with a state trooper.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the pursuit involved a Dodge Challenger and began in Edinburg.

The pursuit continued westbound and ended in Peñitas on the Military Road and South Main Street intersection.

DPS did not release the driver's identity.

No injuries were reported.
