DPS: Harlingen road closes after truck flips over, causes diesel spill

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A Harlingen roadway is closed off after a two-vehicle accident caused a diesel spill, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

DPS is assisting Cameron County Constable Precinct 5 to clear the scene of the accident.

The accident happened shortly before 2 p.m. on Bass Boulevard and Wilson Road.

Images provided by Precinct 5 show a trailer truck flipped on its side and a Toyota Camry damaged from the front.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
