Downtown Brownsville thrives with First Friday events

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Deanna and Hector Zavala, owners of Main Street Deli and Morning Glory in downtown Brownsville, discuss their businesses.

Main Street Deli offers a variety of sandwiches, pasta salads, and kids' options, while Morning Glory specializes in brunch but also serves lunch.

Motivated by the area's potential, they started Main Street Deli six years ago and Morning Glory three years ago.

Morning Glory is currently being expanded with more seating and menu options. Deanna highlighted the growth of First Friday events in downtown Brownsville, encouraging people to explore new businesses.
