Domestic disturbance call ends with self inflicted wound

LAGUNA VISTA, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Laguna Vista Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that led to a man with a self-inflicted wound.

Approximately at 5:07 p.m. on Monday, the police received a call about a domestic disturbance at the 400 block of Banker Street.

Upon arrival, a man ran away from the scene, according to Laguna Vista police.

Officers secured the area and were able to locate the man who had run away. The man was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.

The man's condition is not known at this time.
