Diesel, oil spill causes temporary road closure in downtown Edinburg

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The City of Edinburg announced a temporary road closure on Friday afternoon due to a diesel and oil spill.

Roadways are currently blocked in the downtown Edinburg area.

Schunior Road, between Closner Boulevard and 9th Street, is currently closed off, according to a social media post from the City of Edinburg.

City officials advise motorists to take an alternate route and drive with caution in the area.
