DHR Health brings graduation ceremony to mother on life support

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — DHR Health hosted a special graduation ceremony for the children of a patient currently receiving life support.

Bobbie Adame is currently receiving ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation), the most advanced form of life support available.

Due to her condition, Adame was not able to attend her son's middle school graduation and her daughter's high school graduation.

DHR decided to bring a joint graduation ceremony to Adame with personalized certificates presented to her children, Kaylynn and Robert.

"The ceremony was very happy for me. I just wanted my mom to see me graduate because she helped me out through all four years in high school, so I'm really happy," Kaylynn said.
