Destressing with chair yoga

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that's done while seated or using a chair for balance.

Dr. Kim L. Nguyen-Finn, psychotherapist and an assistant professor at the School of Rehabilitation Services at UTRGV says, "We need to find time to just decompress and relax ourselves. The one thing I would say as with anything that has a bit of physical exercise if it's painful, or if you feel like you can't do it, check with your doctor first. But a little mini break is so important and it goes a long way."
