Dallas Cowboys' Javonte Williams latest guest for McAllen Holiday Parade

MCALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — McAllen Holiday Parade officials announced an additional guest for this year's event.

In Friday's press conference, it was announced that Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams will be making the trip to McAllen. In addition, a new balloon, a part of the parade, will make its debut: Mr. Monopoly.

"It's going to be a new experience, bigger and better than ever. Marching bands galore, the carnival, Christmas in the Park, and tremendous fun for the whole family. The McAllen float studio is building and refreshing floats. The balloons are coming in, and staff are working hard," said McAllen City Manager Isaac Tawil.

Javonte Williams is just the latest addition to a list of guests that include Argentine actor, model Julian Gil, University of Miami Women’s Basketball twins Haley and Hanna Cavinder, Garfield the Cat, and Ronald McDonald.

The McAllen Holiday Parade is scheduled for Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium.
