Cortez: Our new county courthouse will not be big enough a few years from now

EDINBURG, Texas – Hidalgo County Judge Richard Cortez has given an update on the new county courthouse.

In an exclusive video interview with the Rio Grande Guardian, Judge Cortez said most county employees that work there have moved into their new offices. He said feedback from the workers has been very positive.

But Judge Cortez also offered a word of warning. Because the county is growing so fast, it is likely the courthouse will not be big enough a few years from now.
