Construction to begin in May on Barnes & Noble at Sunrise Mall

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral)—The Sunrise Mall announced it is preparing to begin construction on a Barnes & Noble.

According to a news release, the 27,978-square-foot store will begin construction in May and is expected to open in fall 2025.

The bookstore will occupy the former WAVE clothing retail store. The company is opening 60 locations across the country this year.

Barnes & Noble will feature a variety of selections of toys, games, books and gifts as well as a cafe for customers to enjoy a cozy spot while enjoying a good book.
